{of ceiling beams + flowering branches}

. . . an unrestrained adoration of pink and pretty things, of sequins and tulle, ruffles and lace -- and suddenly, rather enamored with a decidedly masculine space -- crisp walls and pale floorboards, window shutters and cozy bedding, but most of all, the wonderful natural elements -- ceiling beams and wood night table, and especially, the enormous bouquet of delicate spring blossoms . . .

I had cherry blossoms at my wedding and I have recently rejuvenated my love for them. What a simple way to dress up a small space,

The tree-stump nightstand is too wonderful.

Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom here in Portland; I've definitely had a jones to snag some for decorating!

I love wood beams in a fresh bright room ~ this is so lovely and idyllic ~ Can I plop down on that bed and read my book? :)

this would fit definitely into the category "the perfect bedroom".

I took out the ceiling in one bedroom but had to keep the beams (or the roof might cave in!), so the vault is white planking and the beams natural wood, and it looks somehow intimate and romantic. Waaaay better than the *choke* yellowed popcorn ceiling there before.

I think the most relaxing rooms have white linens and natural, almost stark elements with just one thing to catch you eye... like those gorgeous blossoming branches. LOVE!
