. . . one of those weeks with a half a million unfinished projects, back-to-back appointments and invitations every evening -- it's beginning to feel like the holidays {which i adore} . . . slowing things down a little with perfectly pale and pretty glimpses of pink . . .

{p.s.} thanks for the great blog recommendations so far!{images: elle decor october 2008 via the city sage; mav via oh joy!; lonny magazine; desire to inspire; martha stewart}

I wonder where that wallpaper on the ceiling in the photo from Lonny is from? Those subtle designs add so much whimsy to a room.
So gorgeous! I love a touch of pink in any room and these are all done with so much sophistication!
Lovely and subtle. I am into apples this week and there is one called 'The Pink Lady' from Western Australia. It's gorgeous and delicious... just like your post.

Oh, oh, oh! That pink-ribboned headboard is perfection.
Cheers.
so lovely.
I love subtle pink touches, gorgeous!
That shelf in the first picture is brilliant. I wonder if it is intended to be a shelf, or actually an object with some other purpose?
Love the top picture, gorgeous!

The shades of pink are very calming in some way. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing!
The rooms are gorgeous. I love having a small bouquet of pink flowers in my room.
Pink never fails to make me sigh with pleasure! Thanks for the link love :)
BEAUTIFUL! You have great taste! These rooms make me want to move out just to decorate....
I am in love with that vanity. Its perfectly charming!
simply stunning, I love it when white in a room doesnt have that clinical feel as it often can have with modern decor
Love the touch of Pink. But, photo 3, white squares painted on the brown wodden floor! I thought they were rugs and thought to myself 'what if she trips on them, falls, and breaks a tooth?'.. so I looked closer at the madness and its paint! great idea!... now where is that brush..
Thanks for sharing :)

Always appreciate a little pink-break from a grey/pin-stripe/black suit dominated life!
million unfinished projects know what you mean - lovely calming pics..an incentive to plough on! :)
What is it about pale pink that makes me love it so much?! I wish we had more of it around the house. These photos are great though - tells me a little splash of pink goes a long way.

Katherine – not certain – shall have to check – also love how it mirrors the pattern on the floor…
Michaela – does sound delicious! + thank you :)
Lauren – not certain -- could definitely be used for other things, such as hanging necklaces, but especially lovely as a bookshelf
Vittoria – thank you!
Adriana – how lovely -- thanks so much!
