{happy september + the countryside}

by

. . . there’s something about the crisp early morning breezes of September that always reminds me of the countryside and although am always a little wistful to see summer’s end, Autumn has its own particular loveliness . . .

Felicity remembers Miss Roséline’s very first post a number of years ago. Her first introduction to the world of blogging was when she stumbled across a post on Bestey Johnson's apartment on This Is Glamorous. Ever since then, she has watched TIG blossom and grow into the much loved blog you now are now reading. Roséline’s eye for glamorous elegant finds, makes her smile, especially when she places them in her multi-image colour themed posts. She has also very much enjoyed the addition of Laily‘s Favorite Five posts & Sarah‘s weekly travel finds. She encourages you to settle in with a box of Ladurée macarons & your favorite tea and wander through the treasure trove of images hidden in the archives of this lovely blog. You’ll be so glad you did.

  • Oh my! I wanna live in the grand estate with the trees all around and the arched wall with flowers!!! It is now one of my favorite pictures of all time! And I wish I had a blanket armoire like in the first photo… All the blankets and linens are so pretty! All the pictures are so beautiful!!

  • The grand estate with the arched wall and flowers is where I work!!! It’s the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center in Atlanta, GA.
    It’s a truly magnificent place. Great post.

  • p.s. The Swan Coach House is the restaurant on the grounds of the Atlanta History Center – for Atlanta “ladies who lunch”. It really cute.

    The Swan House was designed for the Edward H. Inman family (of Atlanta’s Inman Park) by Philip Trammell Shutze. It had appeared in many movies over the years as well.
