. . . in all the summer excitement of the past few weeks, had missed the marchesa resort collection and immediately fell into a beautiful world of perfectly draped silks and satins, bare shoulders and intricate beading, and gowns made for wearing until dawn . . .

that second dress is amazingly beautiful! I would feel like a greek goddess in that stunning gown.
What an incredible wedding gown that second one would make. I need to have another wedding!

Simply stunning.I adore Marchesa. What a wonderful blog!
Beautiful dresses, cream always looks great.
Lovely! Recalls the Greek inspired designs that were popularized by Madame Gres and Balenciaga in the 60's.
So simple. So lovely.
I love her pose in the second shot!
Oh my! That 2nd dress is utterly divine! I must show it to my future sis-in-law, sounds just like what she's after for her wedding, stunning! :)

So pretty, fan of this collection!
Gorgeous.
Love goddess inspired dresses like these. And what lovely belt/waist embellishments!
oooh, I would get married in either of these pieces in a heartbeat. gorgeous.
mm love the ethereal feel and fluid lines of the collection!
I adore Marchesa. That first dress is so dreamy! thanks so much for your lovely comments when I was away, darling! xo
I love the diamond beading detail of these belts..these dresses remind me of my own wedding dress...it was a sleeveless open back and the diamond detail wrapped around the neck line and formed a criss cross in the back. Soooo beautiful! I did look really cute "14" years ago!
Marchesa will always be one of my favorites. All of the pieces are always so beautifuly crafted.
the second dress is really ravishing.
The first dress is so elegant.
The model's face looks a little off though! haha

i would die to look as beautiful as the model in that 2nd gown...i couldn't pull off such a white flowy dress with my figure and complexion...but i can still lust over it. :P
