{late summer nights}

by

Who knew layers & layers of fashion/costume jewelry could be such fun? And even more so with a mix of real & faux pieces for everyday — paired with a white tank for a sultry summer afternoon, or with black for a cool, sexy summer night . . .

When you can’t pick which brooch to wear, wear them all! Why not!?

  • Omg….I love the pins all over that blazer. hmmm….maybe I can find some inexpensive pieces at a thrift store. So amazing

  • LOVE THESE!! i just saw these shots somewhere else and they hadn’t credited the source, so THANK YOU! now i can go drool over baubles… these are so so fun!

  • I love this style…so chic. Her freckles are pretty adorable, too!

  • Oh my lord… that second one… :o wow

  • I love it, it’s so Carrie Bradshaw :)

  • Ah, very perfect. I love those … silver balls? With the pearls? They are fabulous. And what a cute model!

  • 2 beautiful girls and so much fun! Like it!
    xo.

  • the layered necklace look is always so fresh and fun but the way the pearls look layered is even more divine!!! Love these images :-)

  • I’m a big fan of brooches, but never seem to know when/where/how to wear them. They look great amassed on this gray blazer. I think I’ll pull out my collection and try it this way. :) The model’s pretty loose bun is so soft and pretty, too.

  • I bet you have more than a few ladies looking around in their jewellry collection today! Pile them on…..somehow I think it might be the model-lol!

  • Beautiful editorial.. I love the playful ones!

  • i wish i could pull off this blonde hair. i love the look and contrast of her seemingly casual clothing, and beautiful jewels. thanks for the post!

Hi, these are breath-taking! Would you know the brand/where to get the first?

  • this is so fabulous & glam!

  • Oh, how pretty!!! Love the formal/informal mix!

  • OOh! How absolutely gorgeous! I love piling my costume jewellery, but mine aren’t as blingy as these…so beautiful!
    xx

  • So fun! That contrast between the over-the-top glam jewelry and the simple, casual clothing is delicious.

  • How I’d love to have the courage to wear faux (or preferably real) bling like this model, morning, afternoon and night! Maybe in my old age, when eccentricity will be viewed as endearing.

    Love the post!

  • I’ve got some wee little rhinestone numbers from my grandmother but I love the louche extravagance of these. The wee ones do fit my puppy perfectly.

  • I love those last two! That huge mass of pearls is so great – a simple black dress and red lips, and you’re good to go, PLUS the chicest in the room. And how cute are all those brooches on the blazer? Totally stealing that idea.

  • I love it! wonderful.

  • Love the looks and the necklace! hot!

  • Reminds me of Carrie wearing Pearls to bed! Fancy jewelry is great for any occasion!

  • Loving the jewelry!

  • This is such a fun look! Her hair is gorgeous, too.
