what a clever idea. normally I'm not into "egg decor" in any fashion. but this is a nice modern spin on things. beautiful!
and oddly enough, I was thinking it would work best with large ostrich eggs, then I saw the fine text beneath indicating that's exactly what was used. genius.

I love leaving little notes and chalkboards are such a fun way to do that. My friend is redesigning his house right now and he is installing a lot of chalkboards. It is so cute!
Franki -- Would tend to agree, about egg decor, with the exception, of course, to Fabergé :)
And yes -- thought the same about using ostrich eggs -- they are supposed to be much stronger, so it really is a clever idea

So cute! I am obsessed with chalkboard paint! I'm hoping to make a framed chalkboard for my kitchen or living room but my roommates don't seem as excited about it as I am :(
