{books & blossoms}

Inspired by this simple arrangement of neatly stacked piles of books alongside an enormous bouquet of fresh pinkish blossoms in this Parisian living room and wonder if have been overthinking things all along . . .

{p.s.} also adore the stunning gilt mirror

something about the way stacked books look...whether they're stacked high from the floor up or like on top of a table like this photo...I just love it!

I always love a doubled-up cocktail table....especially when it holds a lovely stack of books.

I love how soothing this image is :) I have a number of stacks of books, all over my apartment, but no flowers. Need to fix that!

I'm more taken by the mirror, even though I'm not normally a fan of gold for interior design. But it's lovely.
