{what are you reading?}

Would love to add some new reading to my google reader -- does anyone have any suggestions of lovely new blogs you've discovered recently?

{p.s.}
Can hardly wait for sexy summer clothes and breezy summer nights

And while we're on the topic of reading, a fond, fond farewell to domino magazine . . .

In print, re-reading mostly. Chekhov, John Updike, Shirley Hazzard's short, incisive memoir "Graham Greene on Capri"--excellent. My vocabulary triples upon reading Shirley H.

On the web, have been enjoying Wee Birdy & Bleeding Espresso. (And automatism & A Cup of Jo, Paris Breakfasts, as always.) Both are up for a Bloggie this year.

And TIG, but of course:)

Ciao-meow to all!

I like:

http://myendlessinspiration.blogspot.com/

And I am heartbroken over Domino!!

citysage [Reply] said...

No no no. If we don't say it out loud, it won't be true. Domino is NOT gone. Not gone. Sob!

There are so many amazing bloggers out there that I simply can't keep up! But lately I'm loving:

http://prettylittleworldfashion.blogspot.com
http://redthreadperweek.blogspot.com/
http://kec-contentedme.blogspot.com/
http://myspinningwheels.blogspot.com/

And in keeping with my new year's goal of reading 'actual books' (which I will have to do even more of now that all my fave mags are dying) I'm totally into books written by indian authors. i saw slumdog millionaire over the holidays and the incredible vibrancy of the culture has me wanting more! currently working on 'a fine balance' and next up is 'the namesake'.
