The season's trends are a whirlwind of embellishments, including stacks of rings and layers of necklaces, extravagant fabrics and glittering piles of shimmering sequins, and, in keeping with the holiday spirit, will most likely being wearing something spectacular in my hair for New Year's for certain, and perhaps even Christmas eve, or both . . .
{p.s.}Incidentally, a tiara would also be fitting for Chelsea, who, in the middle of all the excitement and some serious competition, has been chosen, {with a little help from a random number generator}, winner and will be the most stylish girl around town with her brand new Hayden-Harnett handbag . . .
{Congratulations, Chelsea!}
Special thanks again to Hayden-Harnett and to everyone who entered -- it's been such fun, and a wonderful way to begin the holiday season.

A tiara for Christmas Eve, awaiting Santa with a shimmery glass of champagne... that's something out of a fairy tale.

Absolutely stunning photos! How do you always find the best ones?
Gorgeous pictures indeed. I love that ligth blue cape and princess crown!
I love all the embellishments and sequins this season. There's something so glamorous and trendy about them - they add so much to an outfit.
And I adore those photos of Gemma Ward and Natalia. Everything you find is so gorgeous! (:
Gorgeous head 'adornments'!
Lovely as usual. These head dresses are incredible.
They are my favorite faces.
When I am done with my last two chemos and my hair grows back, I would love to wear a small tinsel headband and a cople of little blossoms in my hair. I think hair gear is fun, fashionable, artistic, and of course....glamorous. Great Post! As usual!
Thanks so much, Tiffany! And you should definitely wear blossoms in your hair :) Wishing you the best of luck with the chemo.
fascinators became a such fashion item along with all retro burlesque stuff. This is so relevant to what's happening in streets.
I really do feel blog fashion pulse stronger than any magazines..
btw, did you want to remove picture borders around the 'Polaroid' images? try adding this before the end of img tag.
style="border:0"

Thanks for the tip, Songy! Actually don't mind the borders, but if I tire of them, will definitely try your little snippet of code :)

Thank you for the well wishes ^__^. Have you ever heard of Ban.do ? I want a beautiful headpiece from them so bad. I think I will buy one in celebration of being a cancer survivor when my hair grows back!
ooooh so gorgeous!
I love those pictures. They inspire me to go out and find me some more accessories for myself. I need some cute jewelry for my hair. My dull hair needs some life. Thanks for posting!
I think huge poufs are the next bridal trend. I am so over the birdcage.
I agree with east side bride--birdcages are not on their way out though but the poufs are tres chic now!
Beautiful images.
What a lovely way to spend the weekend.
