{creme puffs + meringue}

by

Lately have been feeling festive and finding myself drawn to yards and yards of tulle — there’s just something about the wonderfully fine netting that’s incredibly romantic and reminds me of daydreams and ballerinas and softly diffused light streaming through billowing curtains . . .

no 3 is swedish blogger “Underbara Clara”, you’ll find her blog here: http://www.folkbladet.nu/?cat=89

  • oh wow – the second image is to die for! I am a massive fan of masses of tulle. My friend however got married two weeks ago, and she is testament to the fact you can have too much tulle. Her darling bridesmaids had to take to the tulle under her gown moments before they got into the car to the ceremony with scissors as she kept tripping on it – ahhhh, the things we do for fashion!!!

  • It’s the black ribbon against the tulle that really makes it; at least in my book. Very festive photos.

  • Beautiful pics and dresses !!
I especially love the second one, very romantic ..

  • Oh my…that second picture is really something, isn’t it?

Tulle is something I adore just because it reminds me of my ballet days, and how feminine it is

  • love the dress on tanya… absolutely stunning! puffy a and meringue-like but in a gorgeous way. i want one!

  • that first photo is absolutely stunning. loved this post!

  • Wow! These are just amazing. Makes me want to plan a wedding just to wear on of these dresses!

  • So Dreamy! I could live in these little puffs of heaven! Beautiful post (as always)! Thank you!

  • I wonder if this means tulle will be making a return to bridesmaids dresses :D

  • I would change my mind about wedding just in order to wear that beautiful wedding dress. There is never enough ruffles ;)

  • Oh my goodness!!! These photos are beautiful! I wish that I could be wearing one of those dresses right now :)

  • that wedding picture from the back is amazing. i wonder if its from a real wedding or what.

  • Would you mind if I painted one of these lovely dresses?

  • Do you know, I think I’ll ALWAYS misspell mereign :) I love these tulle images, so full and fluffy :)

  • Those are beautiful! Whenever I see beautiful tulle dresses I think of weddings. I want a huge puffy dress on my wedding day, but it doesn’t fit with the fact that I want to have a really small wedding.

For the life of me I can’t remember where I originally found this, but I posted this on my stylemob http://image.stylemob.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=139084&g2_serialNumber=2 (hopefully that will work?)

  • Oh wow…these are beautiful.

  • Reminds me Carrie Bradshaw in Vogue. And a twelve tier coconut frosted cake. I love them both. Beautiful post.

  • The last picture is just.. gorgeous!
Tulle reminds me of my ballet classes :)

  • Bonzie on etsy makes amazing boleros – the first image reminds me of her tulle ones.

  • Oh yes, yes, I love tulle. It’s so romantic and glamorous… I adore your picks. Especially the first one! Gorgeous!
