Came across a beautiful post about Poul Henningsen 's Artichoke Lamp by Leticia Blanco in Spain, on her Spanish/English blog, Vintage & Chic.

How cool...it really does look just like an artichoke!
I love those lamps as well - I have the knock-off at home from Ikea - think I paid $10. Beautiful pics!
Oooooh... FUN lighting! I believe I will cook some artichokes today... YUM to lighting and YUM to eating artichokes!
Hmmmm... maybe I will borrow one of your images here... photograph my artichokes and paint... that's a lovely idea... merci!
What delicious lighting. It looks like a modern snowflake.

Thanks for the link and the mention!
I adore this lamp! It is fantastic!
You know what I love about the artichoke lights? They are totally overdone in mags, but I adore them in real life. I don't often see them in person, which makes them phenomenal when you do see them in context.
Lovely images!
Jennifer -- yes, amazingly, it is the superchic Tampa Airport.
Franki -- couldn't agree more -- isn't wonderful to see the lamps outdoors and in an airport setting?
What an amazing table!
Fabulous lights! Wow. You have the most beautiful blog ...
