Green and white for an early August night . . .{Have never lived in any places with green, either on the walls or as accents, and yet always seem drawn to it in the homes of others . . .}

green is good, esp. when the green touches comes from plants.
I'm rather new to your blog, but from everything I've seen, I'm in love! You have such excellent taste!
ohhhh... love the first one. i'm always amazed when there are actual green/white rooms i haven't yet seen! i'm so drawn to them :)
That first room is unbelievable.
that first picture is my favorite - even with no furniture i would live there!!

Love the green touches. It's one of my favorite colors. Gives thing that kick!
Maybe because it makes me think of plants, I love this color also. Beautiful photos.
Yes...absolutely love the pops of serene green.
"Green" is my favorite color, so needless to say....I adore it all, especailly those two chairs in the first photo!.....Heidi XO
One side of my bedroom wall used to be that exact green (of the chairs) and during parties my guests were always drawn to it. Ended up being the spot to take polaroid candids. I think the color itself is safe and alluring.
GORGEOUS top photo!

You have a lovely knack for finding astonishing images!
this color scheme is very very soothing..

For some reason, I always think my favourite colour is Blue, but when I see Green I am so drawn to it. I love how it's used almost as a neutral colour in these photo. Your eye seems to absorb the colour rather than it popping out.
Wow! Didn't realize i could like green and white so much!!
myramyra -- sounds like the perfect backdrop for polaroid candids and safe and alluring is a great way to describe this combination.
donna -- happy you followed heidi's link
franki -- thank you -- lovely of you to say.
jessica -- thank you :)
Its beautiful! So alive and in touch with the outside :-)
Such a beautiful yet relaxing setting! Ahhhhh :)
Green is a lovely colour for interior design. It seems as though the last decade, we've seen more than enough sage/ silver sage (shades I adore, but which have become boring when gracing every flippin' page of every flippin' pottery barn/ crate & barrel catalogue!). I'm thrilled to see your examples of brighter greens; thank you.
I adore white rooms, the pop of color the green gives is absolutely fabulous.
I loooooove GREEN. These rooms make me smile.
Love these, Miss BFF Glam! Green and white is so fresh, I always love the combo.
Hope you are well this week!
Happy day,
Melissa
That first image is just stunning. The ornate mantel, the gorgeous ceiling and crown molding, those windows (wow!), and the deep, deep, deep-tufted delicious green chairs. What a splendid, memorable room.
oh these are to die for!
beautiful interiors...the green teamed with the white is so crisp and clean but cosy too!
You always get me. Every time. Just breathtaking!
Green goes with everything. Think about how a plant never looks out of place in a room. It's the one color that always seems to work.
Simply wonderful! my first visit to your blog and im all giddy :-)
Green and white. That is adorable combination )))
Oh, I have to steal that first photo. I love those windows and the firplace right beside them. Love it! Daisy!
momo -- thank you -- giddy is a great compliment :)
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
i painted my kitchen green a year ago, after 8 years of filthy, off-white walls.
my first pick was a bit ambitious (a little too "avocado"), but then i settled on a cool lime-sherbet one. and i love cooking in there more than ever.
this is PARASISE!
You have no idea how badly I want to sit in one of those tufted green chairs...ahh...so lovely!
