{golden years}

While it may be difficult to discover modern photography that rivals the astonishingly sophisticated and alluring vintage works of Henry Clarke, some of which were taken as many as 70 years ago, every once in a while, something passes by that is completely and stunningly beautiful . . .

Golden Years, Vogue UK - October 2007 - shot in the London underground by Corinne Day.

Who would have thought that a tube station could look so good?

Didn't Cate Blanchett wear this dress on the red carpet? Such a beautiful picture, that photographer really knows her stuff.

Edith – LOL – loved that you brought everything back down to earth with the “tube station” comment.

Cybill – not certain if Cate Blanchett wore this dress, but think it’s Armani, so it’s entirely possible. {And she would have looked stunning.}

Thrilled by the Thought – thank you :)

Felicity – definitely knew.
