{fondest memories}

Two beautiful cities {Paris, NYC} in less than three weeks, with hundreds of photos and little time to compile scrapbooks or albums . . . love the idea of creating shadow boxes for storing and displaying my fondest memories . . .

I'm sure you took some great photos. The shadow box is a nice idea.
I've just posted an image from my Hamptons weekend that you might enjoy. I relate to having little time for the photos!

I have an artist friend who creates vignettes in shadow boxes like this, but hers are more abstract. I love the idea of using them to display items from a trip. Fun! -Julia

You're right, this is a fab idea -- although I'm probably too lazy to do something even that simple.

Hope everyone had a great weekend -- will definitely post trip photos at first chance, and maybe after some summer sun and a strawberry sundae :)

What a good idea. I, of course, will never get up the energy to follow through on even getting them into an album.

My very good friend, the architect, makes the most incredible travel books. To call them albums doesn't do them justice. Everything from the background papers to the typography is considered. They are a joy to read.

I've done some digital shadow boxes and some travel books, too. I hope that you will post some of your pictures. I am sure they're wonderful.

Ohhh I love this idea too. What a great shadow box that is. It makes me want to go out and buy one right now and fill it with all sorts of wonderful things!
