Leah at More Ways to Waste Time attended a press preview for the 2008 San Francisco Decorator Showcase recently and returned with some great photographs, including a stunning silver-leafed ceiling adorned with silk butterflies by Candace Barnes {detail shot below}.
A pefectly sophisticated office by Matthew Leverone that reminded me of Chris Miller's office space . . .
And a wonderful, wonderful portrait in a guest suite by Owen Design, that would have fit in perfectly with this collection.{all images More Ways to Waste Time}

Hello everyone--aren't these rooms great? Elegant and moody.
You're welcome, Leah :)
coco+kelley--knew you would love the butterflies--completely crazy about the way they are scattered about so beautifully.
WOW, that ceiling!!! Is there a way to incorporate that into my house haha??!!! :)
Glamorous ?? I just commented on a post and its suddenly disappeared and this one is in its place!!

Felicity, the turquoise chandelier post is below . . . :)
Oh, a silver leafed ceiling, crystal chandelier and then butterflies scattered about? How beautiful is that? I saw some of those butterflies (or ones like them) at ABC Home and fell in love with them. Such a different combo to put them with all the sparkle and glam. Love it.
Happy happy Tuesday...

The butterflies are beautiful.
The butterflies look great! I like that it's one of those great ideas we can DIY. I wonder that light on the ceiling is actually coming from the chandelier though, because it really adds to the effect.
My heart flutters for these sweet butterflies...love, love, love.
Wow. I love when a room makes you wonder about the people who inhabit it. I would say they are certainly stylish and throw great parties! Brilliant ceiling.
My jaw just dropped to the floor.
